Welcome to The Daily Echo

In an effort to protect my privacy and the privacy of my family I have changed blogging platforms. I am now using WordPress and user levels so that I control what everyone sees. Of course I could just write nothing at all, but that’s not good enough for me. I want to share things, just not everything with everyone.

If you wish to view any part of this site you will need to register using the link at the bottom of the sidebar. Once you have registered and logged in, click the “View Site” link next to the words “The Daily Echo” (you should see it, if not let me know). You will be automatically approved, I would just like to know who is reading and what they are seeing. Thank you for taking my privacy and feelings into consideration. See you on the inside! (You won’t be automatically able to see anything until I give you a user level, so bear with me. Keep checking back!)

**If you are unable to login, please let me know via email (also let me know which browser you are using and what the error is).**

Hey Echo! I am glad that you are not just stopping your writing all together. My blog is really my vent. I’m gonna go fill out my profile :)

Echo- I have a question. I use WP but I don’t use the feature of levels on it… however, I am wondering if my level has to do with the fact that some of the things when I click on comment, it tells me there is no search criteria that meets it. This is the only one I can comment on… but I don’t know if it has to do with levels or not.

Hi! Been a lurker on your site for a while. Congrats on your pregnancy. Not sure I registered correctly still don’t see the site.

Norma

Brilliant Idea!

And I meant to add, “Love the new look!”

I switched to pmachine (with registration for certain areas) so I could have more privacy. It makes me feel better to know who’s reading. Hope you are feeling good!

LOL! Thanks. I didn’t do it, though. ;)

I can see why you decided to get things a little more protected! I can’t seem to comment on your other entries – when I click “comments” I get, “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” Hmph!

P.S. I’ve been thinking about you CONSTANTLY lately! My mind is like, racing – and when I wake up in the middle of the night to pee, even, I’m thinking about you and your pregnancy and your family and everything. I hope things are going okay.

I couldn’t comment on any other post. Goodness you aure as hell have alot of things going in with your family. Try to not get stressed about! I hope things get better soon! LOVE the new look and I totally understand wanting to know who is reading!

I’m gald you didn’t decide to stop writing. I’ve been reading your site since you were pregnant with Jadien. Congrats on your pregnancy. I had a lot of neg. reactions with both of my pregnancies. The first time I found out I was pregnant was four months before my wedding. The second time was when my first baby was 9 months old. You are a good mother and I wouldn’t worry about what pepole say. They don’t have the right to take away your excitement about this pregnancy.

i stil love you no matter what your platform is. HA!

I am glad you didn’t quite writting also! Like I have said before, I don’t comment much, but I visit often.

Hey ma,

I hope you’re all right. I registered, but I think I’m missing something because there are posts that were up previously that are no longer here.

Anyway, *hugs*.

Hey babes!!! Ok, I think I am all registered correctly.. Took me a few tries with the password so if you see some error log-ins that was me. I wasn’t trying to hack into your site. I promise I wasn’t! *lol* Nothing like a little bit of blog privacy. You know I feel ya on this. :) *muah*

I think i’m registered correctly but i don’t see anything that wasn’t there before.

Yeah! I am registered and envying your skills at things such as these. I was wondering if the levels keep people from seeing things (such as having picture posts… but only viewable to certain levels) or does it just prevent commenting for people who don’t have access to comment on those entries. Only asking because I’ve been wanting some sort of leveled protection on my site. But not sure how it all works. Ugh.

(P.S. Did any of that make sense?)

Echo – I’ve been a lurker for manyy years, and have always enjoyed your site. I’m sorry if you are having trouble with the blog, and I’m also sorry for the negativity you’ve experienced with the new pregnancy. I hope things start to turn around for you soon. I am just a little ahead of you at 14 weeks, and I enjoy reading about what you and the kids do, because it is what I have to look forward too.

Great idea!
It would skeeve me out to know my profs read my blog…mostly because I bitch about them and call them names quite often *blush*

I’m finally registered, Echo. I’m glad your keeping your site up! I’m excited for you and Bryan & the “J” babies.

I’ve been reading your journal for a while now, and finally decided to leave a comment and register (it takes a while for some people I guess!) I completely understand your need for more control, I had to switch to Blogger for peace of mind myself. I’m so glad that you are keeping the site going, and good luck to you and your family :-)

Hi! I am a first time reader.. found you through Lalagirl’s blog. I recently did the same thing on my journal because I was feeling too exposed so I understand what you are going through. Hope it helps you as much as it has helped me!!

Hey Echo!
I’ve been on vacation and away from the computer so I feel all behind and everything, lol! Anyway, congratulations and I hope to be able to continue reading your updates. Karyn

Hi Echo!

Hey Echo :) I just registered.

I registered and love the new look. Gives me an idea to do the same ‘protection’ over at my place. Keep your chin up Echo :)

I am having trouble I think I registered but have not seen much. Can you let me know if I am all set up. I have been reading for a while. Congrats on baby #3
