You know, I really liked yesterday’s post. I need to make more posts like that – not necessarily rants, but more where I stick to one subject I feel passionate about. Anyhoo. Being all over the place is okay, too.
This morning I put my old computer, the PC Relocator software, and my maternity clothes up for sale. I put an ad in the post newspaper listing all three, then ads on the two forums I frequent. Hopefully they’re all gone soon. I spent a good deal of the morning going through my maternity clothes, making an inventory, taking pictures, and then I posted an in-depth ad for them on MilSpouse. When I say in-depth, I mean LOTS and LOTS of pictures. I included two pictures of the group of clothes (one for the small clothes, one for the medium clothes) and then links to individual pictures of me wearing those items (my belly shots). Going through them made me sentimental and now I’m hesitating to sell them a little bit, but I’m definitely going to sell them. They’re taking up room that I don’t have, plus we’re not planning on anymore babies, so why keep them? They’ll go to someone who will use them and maybe love them like I did. It has taken me 23 years to get to a point where I could let things go and not be a packrat.
I think I have someone interested in the maternity clothes, but if anyone else is interested, I’m asking $50 for the PC Relocator program and $200 for the old computer. Just email me.
My father in law came in and surprised Bryan on Monday afternoon. I knew he was coming, just didn’t know when. Bryan was pretty surprised. Since he’s been here, he’s been working on getting things in order for Bryan’s boat. Bryan’s had a few issues – nothing major – and his dad is working on getting those straight. Unfortunately, his dad’s truck broke down yesterday, so that sucks. Jaiden’s loving having Papaw here – she says, “Papaw! Papaw!” all day long and last night she cried when he and Bryan went out to shoot pool.
I watched American Idol last night. I really wasn’t impressed with anyone. I think Jasmine did a good job, as did George, but I had to agree with Randy and Simon on most of them. John sucked. Jon Peter was ‘eh’. A lot of the music was about dancing and they just weren’t dancing enough. I really liked Jasmine’s performance, though. She did really well. And I love Jennifer Hudson’s hair straight.
Alrighty, I’m off .. gotta make more progress on my resumé and work on a site for someone! I know some people have emailed me and I have been slow at returning emails lately. I’ll get to it. I promise!
